Stonebridge was engaged by WPX Energy to be their Owner’s Representative for their new corporate headquarters. WPX executives brought Stonebridge onboard after the design and construction teams were already selected to help get the project in line with their budget. After WPX Energy’s merger with Devon Energy and their subsequent relocation to Oklahoma City, Devon leadership continued the project. The project’s construction coincided with the worst portion of the COVID pandemic, but the project was still completed on budget and on schedule. The 270,000-sf building with a 700 parking space garage is one of the premier office buildings in the region.
